1xBet verification failed — one reason, one new photo

Last updated: ·By BonusesInsider editorial team

Documents show Rejected, review never ends, or the first cashout waits until they know who you are. Read the exact label. Blur needs a new photo. A name mismatch needs live chat before another upload. A second account is the fraud case the KYC policy investigates, with the account blocked while it does.

Direct answer

Rejected is a file problem. Under review is a queue.

Read the status on each document in the documents section of the account (a screen we have not captured — the label may differ). Blur, missing corners and glare need a daylight retake of the original. A name or date-of-birth mismatch needs live chat before another upload. Address proof has to be recent (three months is the safe cut-off) and not a mobile bill. A day in the queue is not a failure. Opening a second account breaks the one-account rule and turns a file problem into a fraud review.

Read verification status first

10 markets do not use this rule

The 5× target above is the international offer. Where we have read the operator's own country terms, 10 markets publish something different — and in those markets the tickets described above move nothing:

  • India — three winning single bets at 2.00 or higher, each staked at the full bonus and placed one after another. One loss ends the offer. Handicaps and totals are excluded.
  • Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and Zambia — the bonus arrives in two halves. One clears on accumulators; the other only counts inside the 1xGames section, at 30 or 35 times. That section is 1xBet's own quick-games area — the terms name titles like PF Dice, Pachinko and PF Roulette in it, some of which are excluded from the count. It is not the third-party crash games most people mean by that phrase: Aviator, JetX and Spaceman sit in the casino and move neither half.
  • Tanzania — eight times the bonus, not five, and the qualifying legs start at odds of 2.10 rather than 1.40.
  • Jordan and Thailand — we could read the offer but not the multiplier: those terms pages render their own numbers blank until you have an account. Rather than repeat the five-times figure from elsewhere, we say nothing and point you at your own bonus balance.

Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia also step the percentage with the size of the deposit, and their multipliers step with it. Every country page carries its own figures; the country list is the index, and it now says which rows we read off the operator and which still come from partner listings.

One more line from the terms: on Armenia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uganda, handicap and total bets do not count toward the wagering at all — the rules strike them out together with refunded bets. Build those tickets from match winners, double chance or both-teams-to-score there.

“ID check failed” in chat often means five different things. Map the label in the documents section of the account (uncaptured; the label may differ) before you re-upload anything.

1xBet ID-check status meanings

Diagnostic checklist (work in order)

Each step eliminates a different failure class. Skipping name-match and only retaking blurry photos is how a week goes by.

1. Read the exact rejection reason — not a guess

Blurry, expired, name mismatch, address too old, selfie mismatch, and “type not accepted” each need a different fix. Guessing and re-uploading the same photo three times only restarts the queue.

What to do: Open the documents section of My Account (we have not captured that screen; the label may differ). Note status per document (ID vs address vs selfie). Screenshot the rejection text before you replace files.

2. Does the account name match the ID character-for-character?

Middle names, initials, married vs maiden names, and reverse “Last First” order on registration are the mismatches the policy’s “completely coincide” clause catches. The payment-method holder’s name must also match the verified person — the general rules tie payments to the account holder.

What to do: Compare registration name to the machine-readable line on the ID. If wrong, contact live chat before another upload — we have not captured a screen that lets you edit registration data yourself. Supporting docs (marriage cert, legal name change) go with the ticket.

3. Is every corner of the original document visible and sharp?

Cropped corners, glare, yellow indoor light, fingers on the plastic, screenshots of photocopies, and Instagram filters all fail the readability the KYC policy asks for. The operator wants a photo of the original, not a photo of a printout.

What to do: Daylight, no flash, flat surface, contrasting background, JPG/PNG under size limit. Force focus on the text. Full photo protocol: ID-check photo tips.

4. Is proof of address recent and of an accepted type?

The KYC policy lists a utility bill, a bank statement or reference letter, and government correspondence, and asks for “recent” without a number — treat three months as the cut-off. A mobile phone bill is not on that list. Address line must match what is on the account (or you need a documented move).

What to do: Download a fresh bank PDF dated today if possible. Do not re-submit a 4-month-old bill with “better lighting”.

5. Does the selfie show your face and the same ID clearly?

Hat, sunglasses, mask, heavy angle, or holding a different document than the one uploaded for ID all fail. Face must be neutral and fully visible; ID data must be readable in the same frame.

What to do: Chest-level hold, both ears visible when possible, same physical ID as the ID upload, natural light. One clean retake beats five partial faces.

6. Is the document type actually accepted in your region?

Passport bio page, national ID (both sides), and driving licence (both sides) are the core set. Secondary IDs (voter card, Aadhaar where accepted, residence permit) vary by market. Expired IDs fail even if the photo is perfect.

What to do: Prefer passport or national ID if available. Check both sides for cards. See document list: documents you need.

7. Is it “failed” — or still under review within normal SLA?

The general terms allow up to 72 hours from receipt of the documents (Kenya, read 4 September 2026) and 14 working days for video documents, so plan for days, not hours, and expect each resubmission to restart the queue from receipt of the new file. We have not timed a review, so we print no weekday pattern; “under review” inside that window is not a failure.

What to do: If under review less than the window above, wait. If past the 72 hours the general terms allow with no status change, open one support ticket with account ID — not five chats.

8. Could multi-account / device / household rules be blocking you?

A “new” registration on the same phone, payment profile, or household after a previous welcome claim can freeze or endlessly delay verification. Opening yet another account makes it worse.

What to do: Use only one account. If you already duplicated, tell support honestly with IDs — do not invent a third. Bonus rules: bonus not credited.

Rejection reason → fix matrix

Use the operator’s exact wording when possible. The matrix covers the rejection reasons the KYC policy’s own criteria imply — validity, matching data, readable photo, recent address proof — as we have not captured a rejection screen.

Reason you seeCorrect fixDo not do this
Document blurry / unreadableRetake in daylight, no flash, all four corners, focus on textZoom crop, HDR filters, photo of a photocopy
Name / DOB does not match accountLive chat to correct registration record + supporting legal docsRe-uploading the same ID hoping OCR “changes its mind”
Address document too oldRecent utility bill or bank statement (the policy prints no number; three months is the safe cut-off)Mobile phone bill (not on the policy’s list), undated screenshots
Selfie does not match IDRetake: face + same ID readable, no hat/sunglassesSeparate cropped face photo without the ID in frame
Document type not accepted / expiredValid passport or national ID; both sides of cardsExpired licence, library card, employee badge
Suspected alteration / cropped edgesFull-frame original; no editing appsWhite borders cut off, black bars, collage screenshots
Payment method name mismatch (post-ID)Withdraw to rail in the verified person’s name; prove wallet ownership if askedFriend’s UPI / wife’s M-Pesa without disclosure

Clean resubmit protocol (one cycle)

  1. Screenshot current statuses + rejection text.
  2. Fix registration name via chat if needed — wait for confirmation.
  3. Prepare only the failed document(s); leave approved files alone.
  4. Retake photos using the photo checklist.
  5. Upload once. Note the new “under review” timestamp.
  6. Do not open parallel tickets every hour. One ticket after SLA is enough.
File hygiene
  • A photo of the original; stay under the size limit the upload form shows (we have not captured it).
  • No password-protected PDFs for address if the form cannot open them.
  • No third-party “ID-check helpers” on Telegram — phishing + data theft.
  • Never send full document sets to random emails that claim to be support.

How long is normal vs when to escalate

SituationTypical windowEscalate when
First full ID-check packUp to 72 hours from receipt (general terms); video documents up to 14 working daysNo status change after 72 hours
Single-file resubmit after clear rejectThe same 72-hour window restarts from receipt of the new filePast 72 hours with the same reject text unchanged
Name / data correction via chatNot in the terms — we have not timed a correctionChat closed without ticket ID and no data change
Weekend / major tournament loadNot in the terms — the 72 hours are calendar hours as printedStill silent after 72 hours
Security / multi-account holdVariable (manual)Immediately with one honest ticket — not a new registration

The “working days” in the video-document clause are the operator’s, not your bank’s — the terms do not define them.

What to send support (template)

Only after the checklist. A useful ticket includes:

  • 1xBet account ID
  • Registered full name + date of birth (as currently stored)
  • Which document(s) show Rejected (ID / address / selfie)
  • Exact rejection text (copy or screenshot)
  • Country of residence and document country of issue
  • Whether a withdrawal is waiting (payout ID if any)
  • If name change / move: short explanation + extra proof type you can provide

We are an independent guide — we cannot approve your ID check. Support needs the account ID and rejection context; “please verify me urgently” without document type rarely helps.

After Verified — if money still does not leave

Approved identity is necessary but not sufficient for cashout. Next checks:

Prevention (new accounts)

  1. Register with the legal name on your ID — not a nickname.
  2. Enter promo code VIP4YOU at sign-up if you want the listed welcome — field issues: promo not working.
  3. Deposit, then submit the ID check the same day so review overlaps the bets you still have to place.
  4. Use payment rails in your own name from day one.
  5. One account only — multi-account kills verification and bonuses.
New player? VIP4YOU at registration, then verify earlyFirst deposit can be matched 130%, up to $130 — that is a ceiling. The general rules still let the operator hold the first cashout until the ID check is done.

Verification failed — FAQ

Why was my 1xBet ID check / verification rejected?

Most rejections are photo quality (blur, glare, missing corners), name or date-of-birth mismatch with the registration form, proof of address that is not recent (the policy prints no number; three months is the safe cut-off), a document type not on the policy’s list, or a selfie that does not clearly show both your face and the same ID. Read the exact status reason and fix that file only.

How long does 1xBet verification take after resubmitting documents?

The general terms allow up to 72 hours from receipt of the documents, and up to 14 working days for video documents (Kenya, read 4 September 2026) — plan for days, not hours, and expect each resubmission after a rejection to restart the queue. We have not timed a review. Sending the same files again restarts review without fixing the cause.

Can I withdraw while the 1xBet ID check is under review?

Not while documents are pending: the general rules let the operator hold a withdrawal until the account is verified (read 4 September 2026). Deposits and betting can continue meanwhile. Submit documents early after the first deposit so review runs while you place the required bets.

Can I play while documents are under review?

Yes — register, deposit, bet, and work through the welcome, whatever your market sets as the target. A withdrawal can be held until the account is verified, by the general rules.

What if my registered name is wrong on 1xBet?

Contact live chat before uploading more files. Registration data is not always editable by the player. Provide ID plus any legal name-change evidence. Re-uploading the correct ID without fixing the account name usually fails again.

My ID is fine but the address keeps failing

Use a recent utility bill or bank statement with the same address string as the account — the policy says “recent” without a number, so stay inside three months. A mobile phone bill is not on its list. If you moved, ask chat to update the address with evidence before re-upload.

Is verification failed the same as withdrawal pending?

No. Verification failed means documents were rejected or identity is not cleared. Withdrawal pending means a cashout request is stuck — the ID check may be one cause among same-method rules, locked bonus money, and payment delays. Use the matching checklist for each.

Withdrawal is pending and the ID check is still open — which first?

Finish verification first. Then, if the payout is still stuck after the check passes, work through the withdrawal-pending checklist on this site.

Will opening a second account fix an ID-check rejection?

No. Multi-accounting often freezes both profiles and violates operator rules. Fix the original account’s documents and registration data with support instead.

Is this the same as the how-to verify article?

No. The blog walkthrough is the happy path (what documents, how to photograph them, when the check triggers). This page is only for failed, stuck or rejected verification recovery.

Someone on chat asked me to email documents to a private address

Treat that as phishing unless it is clearly inside the official in-app support channel. Prefer in-product upload forms. Never pay a “verifier” fee.
