How a CS2 ticket is built
Group stages still throw Bo1s. Playoffs are Bo3. Grand finals are Bo5. Each map is first to 13 rounds. 12-12 goes to overtime (MR3, first to 16). Sides swap at half. T and CT do not play the same game on the same map.
Almost every market is the series, a single map, or the rounds inside a map. Pre-match opens days out and tightens when the roster and the map pool lock. Live opens once the map starts and ticks every round; we have not timed the gap. Do not cash out a welcome slip.

In a Bo3 each team bans, then picks. The three maps that get played are comfort picks plus one leftover. A 1.30 series favourite is not 1.30 on the underdog’s best map. That is the spot for the map winner or for +1.5 maps. HLTV map win-rates, last three months, current roster. Not last year’s Major highlight.
Dota drafts and LoL dragons are different games. Hub: eSports betting. Cousin FPS: Valorant (agents + a rotating pool). MOBA: Dota 2 and LoL.
Economy — why 13-7 is usually two pistols, not “six rounds better”

Winning pistol (round 1, round 13) usually buys the next two rounds. That is why pistol looks like a toy and still predicts the map better than people admit. Keep it small. It is still a coin-flip price (~1.85) and it does not unlock VIP4YOU.
Worked example — Under 21.5 on a CT map
Favourite on a CT-sided map. Line 21.5. Under ~1.85.
Map finishes 13-7. That is 20 rounds. Under lands. Over needs 13-9 (22 rounds) or closer; any overtime clears the line immediately. The question is not who wins the map. It is how close it is. Mismatch + strong CT half = Under. Two good T-sides on LAN = Over.
Five CS2 reads that are not “bet the seed”
- Price the map after the veto, not the series seed. Favourite on the dog’s pick is the +1.5 / map-winner spot.
- CT maps lean Under. Historically Nuke and Train. One-sided halves. −3.5 and Under 21.5 are live when the favourite is clear.
- LAN is not online. Some line-ups grow a crowd. Some tilt. Re-weight online form down when the event moves into an arena.
- One IGL or AWP swap can move a map win-rate hard. Check HLTV / Liquipedia in the 48 hours before a Tier-1 series. Stale lines sit there for hours.
- Do not chase 0-9 at half on hope. A CT half can flip a map. Wait until the economy is actually back, not until the chat says “they always comeback”.
Calendar after the 2026 Major
The Major is over. IEM Cologne ran 2–21 June, 32 teams, US$1.25M. Team Falcons beat FURIA 3–0 in the LANXESS Arena final. The rest of 2026 is BLAST, ESL Pro League and IEM stops. Those days still list several series (we have not counted one). That is enough for a 3-leg slip.
- IEM Cologne Major 2026 — June, done. Falcons. Biggest handle window of the year, already gone.
- BLAST Premier — Spring / Fall groups and the World Final.
- ESL Pro League — long groups, high match volume, easiest 3-leg days left.
- IEM — Katowice, Cologne and other LAN stops.
- Esports World Cup — multi-title summer invitational.
- Tier-2 — ESEA and regional qualifiers. Wider margin. Smaller units.

Welcome slip: three series, not four pistols
On the international offer VIP4YOU wants bets adding up to 5 times the bonus, on 3 or more matches at 1.40 or higher, inside 30 days — the block below names the markets that publish something else. A BLAST or EPL Wednesday is enough.
10 markets do not use this rule
The 5× target above is the international offer. Where we have read the operator's own country terms, 10 markets publish something different — and in those markets the tickets described above move nothing:
- India — three winning single bets at 2.00 or higher, each staked at the full bonus and placed one after another. One loss ends the offer. Handicaps and totals are excluded.
- Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and Zambia — the bonus arrives in two halves. One clears on accumulators; the other only counts inside the 1xGames section, at 30 or 35 times. That section is 1xBet's own quick-games area — the terms name titles like PF Dice, Pachinko and PF Roulette in it, some of which are excluded from the count. It is not the third-party crash games most people mean by that phrase: Aviator, JetX and Spaceman sit in the casino and move neither half.
- Tanzania — eight times the bonus, not five, and the qualifying legs start at odds of 2.10 rather than 1.40.
- Jordan and Thailand — we could read the offer but not the multiplier: those terms pages render their own numbers blank until you have an account. Rather than repeat the five-times figure from elsewhere, we say nothing and point you at your own bonus balance.
Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia also step the percentage with the size of the deposit, and their multipliers step with it. Every country page carries its own figures; the country list is the index, and it now says which rows we read off the operator and which still come from partner listings.
One more line from the terms: on Armenia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uganda, handicap and total bets do not count toward the wagering at all — the rules strike them out together with refunded bets. Build those tickets from match winners, double chance or both-teams-to-score there.
- Three match-winners from one day, each 1.40 or higher. Skip the 1.20 favourite.
- Over 2.5 maps on two even Bo3s (often 1.70–1.95) if every series price is too short.
- Mix one CS2 leg with a Dota 2 series or a Valorant Bo3 if you do not want three legs on one veto.

Mistakes that are specifically CS2
- Pasting the series price onto one map. Price the map after the veto.
- Ignoring a stand-in. A benched AWPer changes the pool. The open is often stale.
- Over-staking 2-0 / 2-1. You need the winner and the closeness.
- Treating ESEA like IEM. Wider margin, thinner data, smaller unit.

Does map veto affect CS2 betting?
Yes. In a Bo3 each team bans and picks, so the three maps are rarely neutral. Check HLTV win-rates per map before a map-winner or −1.5. A favourite forced onto the underdog’s best pick is weaker than the series price says.
