The welcome bonus looks simple. The rules are where people lose it. This page explains who can claim it, how the amount is worked out, how much you must bet, the 30-day clock, which bets count, and the traps that cancel the bonus. It also helps you pick sports or casino on the first deposit.
Four numbers decide it, and on the international offer they read: the match percentage, place bets adding up to 5 times the bonus, the 1.40 minimum, and the 30-day limit. What the welcome bonus actually is
The 1xBet welcome is a matched first-deposit offer. They add a percentage of your first deposit as a separate bonus balance. That amount has a country maximum. It is not cash yet, and it is not yours to withdraw until you have staked it — from that bonus balance — five times over.

Can you actually withdraw the 1xBet bonus?
Some of it — on the international offer, whatever is left after you have staked it five times over, within 30 days; the country sites that publish their own rule set another shape. Until then it sits in a separate bonus balance you cannot withdraw. This is not a trick. If the bonus balance has not moved to cash, the terms give the reasons: the bets are not finished, or one broke a rule — a single-match bet, a match under 1.40, or a ticket sold before settlement, which may not count. Finish correctly and the balance moves on its own. You do not need to ask. What moves is the part that survived: the terms say any bonus funds remaining after the bonus has been wagered, up to a maximum of the initial bonus amount, are credited to the main balance. Win on the way and the surplus above the original bonus does not come with it. Lose on the way and less does. If what is left drops below the minimum stake before the rollover is finished, the terms deem the bonus lost.
Two more conditions gate the actual payout. First: the one-time ID check — a photo of your document; the general terms allow up to 72 hours from receipt of the documents (Kenya, read 4 September 2026), so plan for days, not hours. You can bet while it runs, but a withdrawal waits for it, so send the photo early, not on payday. Second: withdraw back to a method you deposited with — the general rules say withdrawals use the same payment details as the deposit, in proportion where several methods were used (read 4 September 2026).

How the bonus amount is calculated
The bonus is deposit × match percentage, stopped at the country ceiling. Examples with code VIP4YOU on the usual 130% / $130 listed welcome — that $130 is a ceiling:
- Deposit $50, no code (100% match): $50 deposit + $50 bonus = $100 to bet with.
- Deposit $50, with code
VIP4YOU(130% match): $50 deposit + $65 bonus = $115 to bet with. That is $15 more on the same deposit, just for using the code. - Deposit $100, with code (ceiling reached at $130): $100 deposit + $130 bonus = $230 to bet with. Depositing more does not raise the bonus.
- Deposit $200, with code: $200 deposit + $130 bonus (ceiling) = $330 to bet with. Anything above about $100 no longer increases the bonus.

Bonus amount by country
What changes by country is the match percentage and the maximum bonus — and, where we could open the operator's own rules, the unlocking rule itself. What the operator's own rules page publishes in each of seventeen markets is on the welcome-terms comparison. The 5× on 3+ matches at 1.40+ described above is the international offer, not a universal one. Twelve markets print a ceiling on their sign-up card and no percentage at all; those rows carry a dash rather than a number borrowed from somewhere else. With code VIP4YOU:

India (400% listed welcome, paid as four deposits), Nigeria (300% at the top band) and Ghana (300% at the top band) show the highest country headlines; Uganda’s terms give a flat 100%. Those figures are ceilings. The amount you must bet is larger too. Ghana’s first-deposit welcome steps with the deposit — 200%, 250%, then 300% from GH₵ 1,301 — and stops at GH₵ 5,500. Most other countries list 130% (up to about $130 — a ceiling), and a dash means the operator's own card gives a ceiling with no percentage beside it. Confirm the number after you sign up. Not listed? How much you must bet
You switch to the bonus account and bet with the bonus money, on tickets that cover several matches at once. Specifically, on the international offer:
- Place bets adding up to 5 times the bonus.
- Each ticket must cover 3 or more matches.
- At least 3 of those matches must be priced 1.40 or higher. Extra matches on the same ticket can be at any price.
- The combined price of the ticket can be high or low — only the 1.40 rule on those 3 matches matters.
Worked example, on the international offer. If a welcome credited $200 of bonus money, you must stake $1,000 of it on multi-match tickets — five passes over the same $200. What reaches your cash line at the end is the balance still standing, and never more than the $200 you started with. Win or lose, only the stake on qualifying multi-match bets counts — a losing three-leg ticket moves the counter exactly as much as a winning one. Plan tickets so the 5-times target finishes inside the 30 days. India works differently and this arithmetic does not apply there: its 400% is four deposits matched 100% each, and it clears on three winning singles rather than on turnover.
10 markets do not use this rule
The 5× target above is the international offer. Where we have read the operator's own country terms, 10 markets publish something different — and in those markets the tickets described above move nothing:
- India — three winning single bets at 2.00 or higher, each staked at the full bonus and placed one after another. One loss ends the offer. Handicaps and totals are excluded.
- Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and Zambia — the bonus arrives in two halves. One clears on accumulators; the other only counts inside the 1xGames section, at 30 or 35 times. That section is 1xBet's own quick-games area — the terms name titles like PF Dice, Pachinko and PF Roulette in it, some of which are excluded from the count. It is not the third-party crash games most people mean by that phrase: Aviator, JetX and Spaceman sit in the casino and move neither half.
- Tanzania — eight times the bonus, not five, and the qualifying legs start at odds of 2.10 rather than 1.40.
- Jordan and Thailand — we could read the offer but not the multiplier: those terms pages render their own numbers blank until you have an account. Rather than repeat the five-times figure from elsewhere, we say nothing and point you at your own bonus balance.
Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia also step the percentage with the size of the deposit, and their multipliers step with it. Every country page carries its own figures; the country list is the index, and it now says which rows we read off the operator and which still come from partner listings.
One more line from the terms: on Armenia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uganda, handicap and total bets do not count toward the wagering at all — the rules strike them out together with refunded bets. Build those tickets from match winners, double chance or both-teams-to-score there.

Time limits
- You must finish within 30 days of registration — not 30 days from the day the bonus arrives. Register on the 1st and deposit on the 20th and ten days are left. India is the exception: its terms run the window from the deposit.
- If you do not finish in time, the leftover bonus is cancelled, and so is anything you won with it while it sat in the bonus balance. Money you deposited stays.
- You cannot pause or extend the clock.
- On the twenty-two markets where we have only the sign-up card and not the rules page, the window is not something we can confirm — the country page says so, and your own bonus balance shows the live figure.

Markets that finish the 5-times target fastest, with the maths per market: bets on several matches at once, over/under totals, double chance and Asian handicap. The staking side is bankroll management; the deposit floor per method is on minimum deposit.
Bets and methods that do not count
These do not count toward the 5-times target:
- Cashed-out bets. If you cash out a multi-match ticket before it settles, the stake may not count.
- Cancelled matches. If one match on the ticket is cancelled, the bet may settle at a lower price and that part may not count.
- Both-sides bets. Betting yes and no on the same thing with two tickets is the abuse the welcome terms void the bonus for.
- Arbitrage across books. Not named in the welcome terms we read; the general terms reserve the right to investigate bets and cancel payments where they suspect fraud, so do not lean on it.
- Some payment methods are left out of the welcome on some markets — Ghana’s and Zambia’s terms disable every bonus for cryptocurrencies. The exclusions are on the operator's bonus terms page for your market.
How to track progress
Your bonus balance and progress are in the bonus section of My Account — the general rules speak of a bonus balance and a “Bonuses and gifts” section; our two registered accounts are unfunded and we have not captured it, so the label and layout are uncaptured. By the terms, the page carries:
- Bonus amount
- Target (5 times the bonus on the international offer, another figure where your country site sets one)
- How much of that target you have already bet
- Time left
Place a few multi-match bets and refresh the page. Progress updates as bets settle. If a bet does not count (a single-match bet, or a 1.30-priced match), the page adds 0. That is how you know it did not qualify.

Common traps that cancel the bonus
Five mistakes account for almost every “my bonus disappeared” complaint. Here they are at a glance, then explained below.

1. Placing a single-match bet from the bonus balance
Single-match bets look easier. They do not count. Either the bonus balance will not take the bet or it does and the counter does not move — we have not captured that screen, so watch Bonuses and gifts after the first ticket.
2. Cashing out multi-match tickets before they settle
Cash-out is useful on your own money. A cashed-out ticket may not count toward the 5-times target. Place set-and-forget multi-match bets while the bonus is active.
3. A qualifying match under 1.40
A 3-match ticket with one match at 1.35 does not count (you need 3 matches at 1.40+). Check each price before you place it.
4. Covering the same bet on two accounts
Some people try to cover a bonus ticket on a second 1xBet account or another book. A second 1xBet account is the fraud case the KYC policy in the general terms (Kenya, read 4 September 2026) says it investigates — the account can be blocked or closed and payments cancelled while it does. Using another book on your own money is a different matter. If both tickets sit on bonus funds, the risk team may flag it.
5. Withdrawing your deposit before you finish
You can withdraw money you deposited while the bonus is still running, and it is the most expensive button on the page. Thirteen of the sixteen sets of terms we have read say the same thing: the bonus has to be wagered in full before you take the funds out, otherwise any bonus and any winnings gained using it are forfeited — not paused, forfeited. If you need the deposit back, take it before you touch the offer, or finish the rollover first.
Sports welcome vs casino welcome — which to pick
On the first deposit you can choose the Sports welcome (this guide) or the Casino listed welcome (a match across several deposits plus free spins). Both honour code VIP4YOU.
- Pick Sports if you mainly bet on football, cricket, basketball or other sports. On the international offer that means bets adding up to 5 times the bonus, on several matches at once — which matches how sports bettors already bet. The markets that publish their own rule are listed further down.
- Pick Casino if you mainly play slots, table games or Aviator. Casino unlocking is on casino games. Slot spins count. Multi-match sports bets do not.
You cannot have both. The choice is one-time at first deposit. This site links to the sports welcome by default. The deposit screen shows both options.
Crash titles are the usual confusion here. Aviator (Spribe), Lucky Jet and JetX (SmartSoft) are third-party casino games, and they typically count 0% toward a sports welcome — entertainment for the real balance once the target is done, not a wagering route. 1xGames is something else: 1xBet's own quick-games section, and in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon and Zambia the terms send half the bonus there deliberately, at thirty or thirty-five times. Quick answers
What happens if I do not finish in 30 days?
The bonus is removed, and so is anything you won with it while it was still sitting in the bonus balance. Money you deposited stays; the general rules let you withdraw it once your stakes add up to your deposits at odds of 1.1 or higher. The clock runs 30 days from registration, so it is already ticking before the first deposit lands.
Can I withdraw my deposit while I am still unlocking the bonus?
You can, and it is the costliest button on the page. Why did my multi-match bet not count?
Usual reasons on the international offer: fewer than 3 matches, fewer than 3 matches at 1.40 or higher, a system bet, you cashed out early, or one match was cancelled. Do free bets and reload offers use the same rules?
Similar, not the same. Recurring offers like the Lucky Friday reload have their own match percentage and their own clock, and day-branded promos rotate — an offer you saw on a Monday may be gone next week. The welcome rules on this page apply to the first deposit only. Read the rules of the specific offer you accept.
Can I get the bonus on a second account?
No. One welcome per customer, family, address, shared computer, shared IP and identical payment details, as the welcome terms word it. A second account is the fraud case the KYC policy investigates, with the account blocked or closed while it does.
Can you beat the 1xBet wagering requirements?
